Hello, we are Lonnie and Rose Gingerich.

At Gingerich Goldens, our mission is to raise exceptional Golden Retriever puppies who bring joy, love, and companionship to their forever homes.

Our Goldens are raised in a nurturing, family-oriented environment where they receive plenty of love, attention, and early socialization. This helps ensure they grow into well-adjusted, affectionate, and loyal companions.

We’re passionate about responsible breeding and are dedicated to the health, temperament, and happiness of every puppy. It’s our joy and commitment to match each puppy with the perfect family, therefore creating lasting bonds and cherished memories for years to come.

We are blessed with 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren. 

Our home is on a small farm of 26 acres 

in the fertile farming country of East Central Illinois. 

Golden Retrievers have always been a special part of our family 

as our three children were growing up; you could usually find 

at least one roaming about on the farm. 

In addition to our dogs, we also have a few outdoor cats 

as well as several beef cows. 

In the past, we have had chickens, rabbits, and a pony.

Our unplanned journey as Golden Retriever breeders began in 2012 when our 2nd daughter, who was 17 at the time, 

wanted to raise Golden Retriever puppies. 

After considerable persistence she finally convinced us 

and in December 2013 our first litter of puppies arrived, 

but by then our daughter was away in school and the task 

of taking care of them fell on the two of us. 

In the process, we have discovered a greater love

 for these amazing dogs and so enjoy seeing our puppies become such a special addition to families all over the US. 

We are so grateful for all the wonderful homes 

these puppies now live in. 

This makes all the work quite worthwhile!
